During our first two years of operation, the only service provided by this company was tree planting. We continue to offer this professional tree planting service which was integral to the growth of our business and to respect our roots here at Tree Frog Tree Care. The most important step that you can take to help ensure the health of your tree is to utilize the proper planting techniques. Much like your house requires a strong foundation for its longevity; your trees must be planted to allow the roots to establish a sturdy base for it to be enjoyed for years to come. Using our expertise and experience, we can provide you with the most suitable location and species for your needs.
Upon choosing the appropriate tree species, our arborists hand-pick a tree and inspect it for optimal structure and root system condition. Through this selection process, we greatly increase the chances for your tree to thrive early on and continue to develop into a well-structured mature tree. The condition of the root system is equally vital to the success of the tree. Once the tree is planted, root-related issues become significantly more difficult or impossible to manage effectively.
Our tree planting service includes the pick-up and delivery of nursery stock trees, installation, disposal of excess soil and sod, care instructions, structural inspection, pruning at time of planting, as well as a post-planting checkup 12-18 months following its installation.
